The Plus plan is bought on guito.app, and everything about the subscription lives in one place: Settings, Billing. That’s where you change plans, update your payment method, add your tax ID, view invoices and cancel. To learn what each plan includes and how the pricing works, see Plans and pricing.

View your current plan

Click your avatar, select Settings and open the Billing tab. There you’ll see your current plan, price, billing interval (monthly or yearly) and, if your subscription is active, the next renewal date.

Change or upgrade your plan

1

Open Settings, Billing

In the Billing tab, click Change plan.
2

Compare the options

Compare the available plans and intervals (monthly or yearly).
3

Review the summary

Before confirming, you’ll see an order summary with the total due today and the date and amount of your next renewal.
4

Confirm the change

Accept the terms and confirm. The change takes effect immediately.
Confirming a change to a paid plan requires a payment method on file. If you don’t have one yet, you can add it right from the change screen.
While your account is scheduled for deletion, you cannot subscribe or change plan. If you have changed your mind, cancel the deletion first: see Delete your account.

Manage your payment method

On paid plans, the Billing tab shows your card on file (brand and last four digits).
1

Open Settings, Billing

In the Payment method section, click Update (or Add, if you don’t have one yet).
2

Enter the new details

You can pay by card or, when available on your device, with a digital wallet.
If a payment fails, your subscription is marked as past due and a notice appears in the Billing tab. Update your payment method to bring your subscription back into good standing.

Billing details (tax ID)

On paid plans you can add the tax number that appears on your invoices: your NIF, or, for a business or freelancer in another EU country, its VAT number.
1

Open Settings, Billing

In the Billing details section, choose the country of your tax number.
2

Enter the number

For Portugal, enter your NIF (nine digits). It saves when you leave the field.
3

For another EU country, add the company details

Enter the VAT number, the company name and its address, then select Save.
You can also enter these details on the payment page when you subscribe.
We check an EU VAT number in VIES, the European Commission’s register. Once it’s confirmed, your invoices are issued without VAT and say “IVA - autoliquidação” (reverse charge), because your business accounts for the VAT in its own country. You pay the same price. If VIES can’t be reached, the number is saved and checked again before your next invoice; until then, invoices include VAT.
Your tax number is used only for issuing your subscription invoices. Customers outside the EU don’t need one: their invoices are issued without Portuguese VAT.

Invoices

Your most recent subscription invoices (up to 12) are available in the Billing tab.
1

Open Settings, Billing

Scroll down to the invoice list.
2

Open the invoice

Each row shows the date, document number, total, and status. Click View to open the PDF.
Right after a payment, the certified invoice can take a moment to be issued. During that window the row shows as pending; refresh the page after a few minutes.

Cancel your subscription

1

Open Settings, Billing

In the cancellation section, click Cancel.
2

Choose the cancellation reason

Select the reason (required). If bank syncing stopped working, pick that option: it’s the most common one, and it can often be fixed in two minutes.
3

Answer the follow-up question

Depending on the reason, we ask one specific question: which connection stopped, which feature was missing, what put you off. Everything in this step is optional. If the connection you named can be reconnected, a shortcut to do that without cancelling appears here.
4

Confirm

Review what you’ll lose access to and how long your subscription stays active, then confirm.
After cancelling, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Your data is kept.

Reactivate before the period ends

If you cancelled but changed your mind, you can reactivate before the subscription ends.
1

Open Settings, Billing

When your subscription is scheduled to cancel, a Reactivate button appears. Click it.
2

Or use the email link

You can also reactivate through the link in the cancellation email. The link opens a page where you confirm the reactivation with one button; opening the link on its own changes nothing. Each link works once, and only for the cancellation the email was sent about. While your account is scheduled for deletion, the link doesn’t reactivate: cancel the deletion first in Settings, Security. If the link is no longer valid, use the button in Settings, Billing.
Reactivating before the period ends keeps your current price and any discount attached to it. To see what changes if you subscribe again after that period, see Plans and pricing.

Right of withdrawal

If you subscribed on the website, you have the legal right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of the initial subscription, without giving a reason. Automatic renewals do not start a new period. During that period, the Billing tab shows Withdraw from contract here. Confirm your name, the contract and your email, then choose Confirm withdrawal. You immediately receive an email acknowledging receipt, with the date and time. The subscription ends straight away, your account moves to the Free plan, and everything you paid is refunded in full to the same payment method within 14 days at the latest. You can also exercise this right by emailing support@guito.app. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, the request goes to the store.

Notice before an annual renewal

On a yearly plan bought on the website, you receive an email about 45 days before each renewal, and never fewer than 30, with the renewal date, the amount that will be charged and how to cancel. Cancelling costs nothing, and you keep Plus until the end of the year you’ve already paid for.
